Project Description:

OnlyBlurayDvd is a Djarot Studio's Network Project. Firstly initiated as an affiliate market site with a unique concept. How Unique? We 'll talk about it more later. First thing first.... Let's talk about the work itself and all the environment surround it.

The Engine

I was finally choosing the Wordpress as this site 's platform with some basic reasons. Easiest Management, Strong Syndication, SE Optimized and Low Server resources consumption. Uh huh, I agreed, there're many CMS out there offer the more complete features than this engine, then again, do we really need those stuff? Me my self, is the kind of programmer who choose to add additional codings to expand more features of the site, instead of choosing cms with too many complex features which at the end they're mostly un-used! It's better not existed at all rather being there, but un-used. The last one still eat up our server resources like crazy! Oh well, you guys would 've thought that from the first start anyway.

The Theme & Design

The theme was a bit challenging, as I need it to be a bit different from the "traditional face" of most wordpress sites. I 'm referring to the codex and of course the graphics. Not much coding work as build a databased site from the first zero square, but still, the fun and the challenges remains till the last second.

The Work Hours

It tooks exactly a week to finish the whole things up. Well, there're many tweaks to improve some of the site 's features, actually. But the project begin at March 30, 2008 with the concepts and the planning. Keywording stuff and SE - the onpage - optimization, the coding and graphics, and the last 2 days as usual, I did the last review and revision.
