What’s crackin’, guys? How’s your day over there? Well, hope everyone’s great.
Anyway, this time i’m going to talk about my internet connection, again. No, it’s not like what i wrote before btw, but yeah it’s still related to Hughes Net though.
Okay, this is actually happened last week, when i was moving to my new place. Closer to my brother’s apartment now. And if you read my story before, i had a hell of experience with my old cable connection, which was really really frustating.
Well, lesson learned. I took my brother’s advice, ditch the cable and get myself a plan just like my brother’s. Ever since, everything goes right. No connection loss, time-outs, down times, and stuff like that. It really help me with my jobs. Seriously, since most of my works need an internet connection, a fast and stable connection to be precise.
And now comes the dialog. My next door friends are coming, helping me out with my packings. And one of them, Jay, ask me.
Jay: “Dude, does it mean you can’t get yourself online after you get there? Cause, we need to get something done real quick, online.”
Me: “No. Don’t worry. The first thing i’m gonna set there is my internet connection.”
Jay: “How are you gonna do that?”
Me: “Well, i just switch the modem and stuff on, open my laptop, and pray. I guess.”
Jay: “Dude, seriously.”
Me: “Haha. Sorry. Well, yesterday, i called the provider and ask about that. They said, it’s okay. They’ll send their guys over and help set things up.”
Jay: “Man, you’re kidding, right?”
Me: “What? No.”
Jay: “Well honestly i’ve never heard any provider actually did what they promised to. Send their guys right away? Dude, goodluck with that.”
Me: “Well, okay. Thanks, dude.”
Jay: “Whatever, dude.”
Me: “Hey, how about this? I’ll send you a video of it.”
Jay: “Of what?”
Me: “You know, the guys from the provider coming to my place, and get my connection set. I’ll record it and send it to you.”
Jay: “Yeah, okay. Like you will.”
Me: “Oh, i will. And you’ll get to pay all of the foods and coffee when we hang out tomorrow.”
Jay: “Deal!”
And, the next day, i send him the 5-minutes video of the proffesional guys from Hughes internet, setting my internet connection. Why only a 5-minutes video? Because that’s just what they need to get me online.
Then i called my friend Jay. Before i get to say anything, he said: “Yeaaah yeaah yeaah .. i’ll pay the foods and the coffee. See you guys there.” then hung up the phone. I win, and i get a free dinner and coffee. Thanks to Hughes Net.
