It’s a bit late, um.. again.., yeah i know, whatever.. So I just need to tell you guys about this new feature introduced by Amazon for us, their associates. Sounds cool huh, us.. are Amazon Associates! Haha .. Absolutely! Alrite.. it’s about the Site Stripe. An Amazon Associate Site Stripe.

What’s this Stripe

According to their explanation, site Stripe lets you build your Associates links right from any Amazon.com page. The Site Stripe will appear at the top of every Amazon page and provides quick and easy access for building links, adding products to your aStore and even seeing your reports. The Associates Site Stripe is a convenient alternative to using some of the Associate Central linking and reporting tools.

To see the Site Stripe you need to be recognized as the Amazon customer corresponding to your Associates account. Ensure that you are signed-in to Amazon using your Associates account by looking at the top of the Amazon.com page.

What so Great about it?

Well, the key features are quite cool. Here we go:

Link to this page
Lets you build different kinds of links to the current Amazon page you are viewing. The linking options vary depending on whether you are on a product detail page or not. Links to specific products can only be made if you are viewing that specific product. You will be able to return to continue on Amazon.com by clicking the ‘Back to Amazon’ button on the top left of the page.

Add to aStore
Lets you add the product on a product detail page to your aStore. You will be able to return to continue on Amazon.com by clicking the ‘Back to Amazon’ button on the top left of the page.

Your Earnings Summary
Links you to your earnings report. You will be asked to log-in to your Associates Account before viewing your report to ensure the privacy of your report information. You will be able to return to continue on Amazon.com by clicking the ‘Back to Amazon’ button on the top left of the page.

Discussion Boards – links to the Associates discussion forums

What’s New?
Links to the latest news and information about the Associates Program as reported on the official Associates blog.

I found it pretty useful. No jokes. While I ‘ve already logged in, and continuing my activity, just browse around, look here and there… I can still have this shortcuts to the associate “Dashboard” just incase i ‘m i a mood to add products and stuff, or in need to see how much I ‘ve earned so far for being an associate of amazon.

To turn the Site Stripe on or off, simply go to the Account Settings – Associates Site Stripe Options section of Associate Central and select the appropriate option to turn the Stripe off or on.

One word for this one, awesome!
What about you guys? Use it yet? What d’ya think?

So, you ‘re finally decide to fight on the affiliate market area? Well, with all the products flooding every market, it’s easy to get lost in the crowd. That’s why in order to get noticed, you should pick your battles carefully.

Focusing on a niche market will also give you a better sense of purpose with your business and, consequently, a definite direction to take. Finding a niche market that fits you is no simple task, but due diligence is always rewarded. So here ‘re the 6 Ultimate ways to Help you to select your Niche :

1. Your Passion.
What are you passionate about? Write down the 10 things that make you smile or would like to learn more of in the future.

2. Your Talent
What can you do well? Write down the 10 most useful or special skills that you have.

3. The Market Demand
What do other people need? Find out what’s hot out there. Buy your local newspaper and read the classifieds. Log on and go to Craigslist and other sites with job ads. Browse magazines. Visit Ebay. Take note of the products and services that are currently in-demand.

4. Make it broad enough, yet specific enough.
When you are going to pour your valuable time into a business or project, while it’s important to have a niche target, the market should also be large enough to be worth your time. Microniches have their time and place don’t get me wrong, but when seeking true profits aim bigger to make it worth your time and effort. The same amount of work in a moderately broader niche compared to a microniche will reap more profits and have a greater potential for growth. The happy medium varies from person to person and one’s available resources, so find your equilibrium.

5. Your goal should be to dominate
If you’re not first, your last. Well not true, but your goal should be to become #1 in your respective niche. So from the beginning of your business, plan accordingly and act like you should be number one. Relating to tip #1, if being number one in your niche won’t bring in enough profits to satisfy your desires, broaden your niche.

6. Go vertical
I think many profit seeking webmasters are guilty of not going vertical right away. Once you have a niche and you’re looking to start up a new project, product, or revenue stream, go vertical. Leverage the authority you worked hard to develop in your first business and this will save you bundles of time and effort when starting up a new project. For example, if your widget sale business is on fire, try not to wander off and start make watchamacallits. Instead, widget repair might be something a bit better suited for you.

So after figuring out your passions, talents, and the demand of the market, find your equilibrium and be kind of broad, prepare to dominate, and go vertical when seeking new projects.

Goodluck!
